Accepting all we do not know

As human beings we often come with our opinions. Our beliefs. The things we hold close to our hearts.

But perhaps over the course of our lives, we are shown just how much these can change. From one day or one month or one year to the next.

So perhaps the broader minded approach lies in accepting that there is so much that we do not yet know.

That our beliefs can change.

That moment by moment the thoughts that float through our conscious awareness are always in flux. Shifting. Evolving. Moving. Growing.

Through the life experiences we have, our hearts are opened, our minds expanded, the beliefs we held with such conviction shattered.

And so perhaps we can hold this in our conscious awareness, that as much as we believe what we believe to be true right now, this may not always be so.

To hold these opinions, these attachments, these ideas, concepts and theories a little more lightly, and with a little more ease.

Knowing ultimately that what we need will be with us when and for how long we need it, and will then pass through.

The more we allow, the more we open ourselves and our minds to all that we do not know, the more we are free to move more gently through the journey of our lives.
